Oil on Canvas painting of the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge. The bridge's full name commemorates Boston area leader and civil rights activist Leonard P. Zakim who championed "building bridges between peoples." The painting provides a full view of the bridge with the railway of N. Station and the Boston Sand pit in the background. The casinos can be seen shining brightly across the horizon.
The painting of the Leonard P. Zakim Bridge was created on a 36x24 gallery wrapped box canvas, using Oil as my medium. This painting extends to its far left and right borders. The colors used is this piece are; Ultramarine blue, Indian yellow, Yellow ochre, Titanium white, Soft mixing white, Cadmium red, Cadmium orange, Mars black, Prussian blue, Phthalo blue, Raw umber, Burnt sienna, Burnt Umber, Light red, Sap green, and Permanent light green.
